Sunday morning we woke up to rain drops and realized we would never get out unless we left right away. Navigating in the day is different than the night. We quickly learned, DON’T TRUST YOUR GPS IN THE WOODS! She led us down a one way narrow dead end road with trees all around. With a 30 foot trailer plus the Tahoe we were stuck! Glenn backed up to find a clearing and we manoeuvred around until he finally got us unstuck. Sarah and I directed him out only to see several dead animals where a bear or wolf must have been. It was like an animal grave yard…what a HORRIBLE feeling. After that experience, Glenn is truly an outstanding driver and wins the OB medal of honour! Please pray for him as he bonked his head really bad and it hurt his neck during this process.
We finally arrived in Yellowstone National Park on Sunday afternoon with full hook-ups. Love the hook-ups man – plus the laundry facilities…but no internet or cel phone coverage.
The Outback has truly seen the Outback!

Oh no! I hope you didn't get stuck on our road? It can be tricky to maneuver for sure. Glad you made it out okay, but sorry Glen hurt his neck ~ is he feeling better?
