Can't believe it's already over. It's time to head west to Arizona to spend time with family. We were faced with a t 17 hour drive and 3 days to do it in. Once Glenn gets it in his mind to go, there's no stopping! We drove strait through Texas to New Mexico, just outside Albuquerque. He would have kept going but the rest of us needed to sleep horizontal. We drove through Albuquerque at 2am on the interstate - down to one lane due to construction. We were glad that we didn't hit the rush hour! Wow, I wouldn't have guessed that it would be such a pretty city...at least at night. All the interchanges were lit up in different colors and cool buildings...from what we could see. The landscape was dessert and mountain range. Woke up at a rest stop...didn't know where we were. By the way, Glenn is a FANTASTIC driver.
We left early in the morning to drive to Flagstaff Arizona to clean the bugs off the trailer, do laundry and clean up the kids after driving for 2 days. Elijah is adjusting well to traveling!
